Since 2009, under the guidance of the talented Miss Michelle Abbott, Grace spent a rewarding six years refining her skills.
As a regular harp player in the EdUHK Orchestra since 2020, and a guest harpist in both the EdUHK Symphonic Band and Cyber Symphonic Winds, Grace had the privilege of contributing to diverse musical ensembles.
Grace dedication bore fruit in 2019 with the Harp ARSM Merit, accompanied by successful passes in Piano Grade 8 and Theory Grade 8.
In 2023, Grace participated in the Vancouver Summer Program, where she explored the intersection of art, technology, and music in a course titled Digital Media in Art Education.
Currently in Grace’s the fourth year pursuing a Co-terminal Double Degree in Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture and Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Music. Alongside traditional music studies, she delved into psychology, teaching strategies, and special education. Grace added her voice to the University Choir and contributed to the Handbell ensemble, creating a rich tapestry of musical experiences.
Grace’s passion for music education comes alive in teaching experiences focused on piano, harp, and theory. Additionally, she has taken on the role of a harp instructor, offering extracurricular classes at schools.
